    ZIMBABWE AID FUND GOLF DAY

    The Annual Zimbabwe Aid Fund Golf day was held at Boomerang Golf Course on Sunday 13th September 2020. It was another great day spent playing golf, catching up with friends and family and raising funds for the pensioners in Zimbabwe. Over $43 000 was raised with 124 golfers and over 200 people for lunch.

    Thank you everyone for all the donations, prizes and auction items that were donated and to everyone for all their help on the day. As always your support is very much appreciated.

    A big thank-you to James King and the staff at Boomerang Golf Course for all that they did to make the day such a success.

    The winners of the golf were:

    1st      Dave Pichanick, Drew Pichanick, Dave Cox, Sam Kroeger

    2nd    Don Fraser, Ed Reavey, Vyv Henning, Ryan Broodryk

    3rd     Tracey Fettes, Robyn Graham, Patsy Youngleson, Jean Nixon

    4th     Stewart Crundall, Daniel Crundall, Raymond Jackson, Nick Smith

    5th     Pat Logue, Cecil Grimmer, Chris Herden, Ivor Prior

    1st Prize         Andy Humphries – MacKay

    2nd Prize       Charles Golding – Brisbane

    3rd Prize        Marcia Knoll – Brisbane

    COVID SAFE PLAN FOR GOLF DAY

    As our event is less than 500 attendees the Queensland Government COVID Safe Event Checklist Statement of Compliance is required and will be followed.

    Please do not attend the event if you have any:

    • COVID-19 Symptoms
    • Been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
    • Have been overseas in the last 14 days
    • Please stay at home if unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath
    • Attendees will not be penalised for not attending when unwell and will be offered a full refund for the golf and lunch
    • If you become unwell during the event please advise the organisers and they will assist you
    • MAINTAINING PHYSICAL DISTANCING IS THE INDIVIDUALS RESPONSIBILITY

    On arrival please maintain social distancing and avoid any crowding when waiting to register and tee-off as well as when getting your lunch, drinks and using the toilet facilities

    Please use the hand sanitisers available at the stations around the facilities. We have disposable face masks available, please ask the organisers should you require one
